Utah Party-Harty!

Hey Y'all!  I'm having a headband party at my parent's abode (in Utah) on Friday the 13th of August.  If you live in Utah and you're interested in coming (or having your own party with major free stuff involved) please email me for details.  betweenlinnetandlinen@gmail.com

There will be foody-goodness and lots of fun headbands and accessories to try on and play princess.  There's no pressure to buy, but I won't stop you if you really like something.  Come and try stuff on and be a princess for a day!

Also, if you're in Indiana and would like to have a party (again, there's lots of free stuff involved with throwing a party) please let me know.  I'm willing to travel (within reason) and would love to come and let you have a princess day where the accessories are brought to you!

What's this going to be?

 Here is a little preview of some new hottie dresses I picked up to make into some great new diggs.  I'm not sure what they're going to make but look at them - they're going to be GREAT!

I like to call this the Hyacinth dress.  (If you watch keeping up appearances then you know what I'm talkin' 'bout.)

 This was supposed to be me making a great attempt at a very serious Spanish dancer, I didn't quite pull it off.   I look more like I'm trying to be some kind of sexy and it just didn't work.  Ignoring the terrible model in the pic, it's going to make some sweet stuff.

 Remember this bad boy?  Well, it made the great headband below and a killer belt (that I can't model because it doesn't quite fit but you bet your booty pictures will be coming soon).

I hope you all had some ice cream in honor of National Ice Cream Day today!
Btw...my loving husband purchased a new camera for me for my birthday so my pics will hopefully be a little better quality coming very, very soon.  Hot dog!

To all of you who attended my little weekend shin-dig,

Thanks for making this weekend oh-so-spectacular!  It was such a fun party with a great turnout and so nice to see great friends and even a few new ones.  I hope you all enjoy your new wares and spread the word about this little shop. 

To all of you who didn't make it and are waiting (oh-so-anxiously I'm sure) for new updates, keep watching.  If I can convince my overly stressed husband to snap some shots tomorrow I will have pictures galore scattered across my blog.  I hope you're all having a lovely International Town Criers Day and a happy birthday to Henry David Thoreau.

Feedback Party

If you're in the Lafayette Indiana area this Friday the 10th you should come on over to my feedback party.  I need all the feedback that I can get so I decided to throw a little party in feedback's honor.  So come and celebrate a little feedbackishness with me, some cookies, maybe some delicious hors d'oeuvres and some other Between Linnet and Linen fans!

Coming Attractions.

 I know that pictures taken in my homemade studio with our ancient 5 mega pixel camera (even with the help of my talented husband) is nothing compared to the beautiful pictures my friend Jessica (check out her blog here)  has taken of my headbands.  BUT, M. helped me try to get some shots to entice you to keep checking for updates.  I have lots of great stuff in the works.
I've had some requests for more of the arc headbands so here is a preview of some that I've been working with, I think they're turning out pretty darn great.

 There's an entire set with this material that is, well, adorable and great.  Some mother/ daughter stuff, some cute new ideas and it's just funky and fun.

 There's also a series with this great paisley print.  It's a beautiful pink and cream that isn't done justice with these shots. 

 Some upcoming tie designs, much more coming with these.

 These are some fun arc headbands for big or little girls.  Very cute, funky and fun.

 I like to think of this side as their cute little bums.  I wanted to make the underside fashionable as well, just for fun.  They turned out cute.  More of these to come as well.

 And this funky, frumpy mess of an unflattering skirt is becoming some pretty funky, awesome stuff.  Just you wait Henry Higgins, it's going to be fan-diddly-tastic!
